Consumers show a strong appetite for AI-powered medical diagnoses, according to our new research. AI has a favorable bedside manner too, as 79% of chatbot responses to medical questions were rated higher in empathy than those from human physicians. In one experiment, AI was even able to outperform medical doctors in accurately diagnosing complex cases.
