From war in Europe to disrupted supply chains to strategic competition over semiconductors, geopolitics increasingly affect the ability of companies to do business around the world. Many major companies are now significant foreign policy actors. CEOs can’t afford to be solely on the receiving end of events. They need to better anticipate geopolitical developments and cultivate their own contacts and relations so as to position their companies to thrive in any environment, creating a strategy which also aligns with their own purpose and values as a business.
